Although I still haven’t yet started to write any iPhone apps, I have been a web developer in RF for one year. I have to give thank to god that I’m working for my interest more than money. I don’t dare to say RF is the best company but it’s absolutely one of my dream companies. As well, web development is also my dream career. I just like this company.
There is like a playground that I can play Flash, jQuery, HTML5, CSS 3, shell script and so on. Ha, it sounds like I’m a computer freak but the feeling is really awesome since I can learn what I wanted to learn. Besides, I said there was a playground because I can really play there. I’m so free to surf the Internet and play ball games with colleagues. I also enjoyed the monthly activities that gave me lots of “jason” moments.
Moreover, I’m so glad to work with two great seniors. Senior G is really a baba who cares my feeling and gives me many guidances. Senior A is like a brother who supports me in action. Nevertheless, they resigned last year.
Working in RF needs much passion and paitence. We often work over time even over night. Actually I don’t mind to work OT but I do mind to work OT for dealing with the stupid IE and super old lotus note. I always wanna write a programm to kill all the IE6 users. However, I’m still a small fish in the Internet world and my outcome are still few peices of cakes but it’s true that “It’s a career, not a job.”.
Going back to 2004, I was a Form 7 student. As an AL candidate, there should be no leisure time. Only one thing I can do was studying. When assignments, past papers and mocks came close together, escape was the only way to me. Hea was the next step. Turning on the PC was the second step. Once Windows started up, forum, ICQ and Dos games were the entertainment to kill my time. Perhaps I was filled with guilt so I started to find something to redeem my fault. Maybe primary school teachers always encourage students to write diaries. I opened a Xanga account and then started to type my first entry. That was the beginning of my web log.
