Tonight, I was really pleased to celebrate Or Kar’s “25 year-old” birthday. It was the most happiest new year’s eve ever. We all enjoyed the moment while Or blew the b-day candle as well as she took apart the b-gifts. As well, we took a great deal of photos with two special Xiamen hats which bought from BB.
Everything will be good as 2009 is beginning.
’08 was a fucking year that everything let me feel disappointed, frustrated and depressed. In this horrible year, nevertheless, I realized what and who are important to me, to my life.
In the first-half year, I was still an analyst programmer trainee in one of the companies in science park. I believe it has been the most unusual working experience ever. While a few of seniors went away from that company, I felt hopeless and had no more passion to complete the “big” business that my boss expected. In the rest of the time, I just chose to handle some easy jobs, chat with my colleagues and surf the Internet.
A happiness moment seemed to start when I completed my first internship. During my last summer holiday, I traveled to Thailand and Nanjing as well as visited a full range of places in HK with my dear friends. It is totally exhilarating that I can put away all the deadlines and emails then just free to chat and play with them. It is true that all things are absolutely special and different with hometown. I truly hope that I can travel around the world with my dears in my rest of life.
After 2-month summer holiday, my last academic year of bachelor degree began. I was glad that I’ve become one of the members of EIE family again. However, I wasn’t ready to re-adapt the extreme heavy workload in EIE. As well, I couldn’t get a right track to confront my FYP. Besides, the terrible economic downturn bought me a serious loss in my investment. When I looked at my portfolio in October, wow…it was really “my mum cannot recognize it”! I felt lost and depressed sometimes…
November was the most brilliant month of this year. I attended some gatherings with my friends and families. I appreciated to be with you all. In this b-month, I made 3 wishes about friendship and relationship. I do hope my dreams come true. Last but not least, I got my first iPod. I became an fan of apple. I was really addicted to play it all the time.
Although ’08 was a disappointed year, I got much experience and became more mature. This year, I still couldn’t recover my loss even lost more. Next year, I decided to find new replacement instead of the old one. Since loss will be suddenly back if we don’t find them anymore, ha. In addition, I planned to improve my poor language and focus on the FYP. I do believe I can do something great in 2009.

Life is really incredible that we cannot predict any changes of it. This year was quite unfathomable for people around the world. We experienced a horrible economic impact, a serious loss.
This semester-break will be a working holiday since I need to confront my FYP. Each team member is expected to complete their tasks before the semester-start. So do I.
Besides, I am planning to join the working holiday scheme in coming year. Hence, I have to be well-prepared for my english speaking.
“Everytime I try to fly I fall. Without my wings I feel so small.” Nevertheless, I still have my legs so I can run. I do believe I can arrive at my destination. It’s me.
Tonight was a joyful Christmas. I introduced the new iPod touch to my grandma. She totally admired this cutting-edge Apple’s product as she can view all the detail of her favorites stocks from Safari.
Tonight I’ve tried to take some actions to get back what I lost in these two years. It was actually my last card. If it still doesn’t work, I don’t know what I can do. God bless me, please!
I believe this exam period was the most longest one. I’ve started the revision since 1st of this month and then kept revising everyday. Eventually, I’ve completed all the examination today!! I can throw all the notes to the locker and delete all the memories for equations and block diagrams.
I’m free now! Yeah!
Tonight EIEmates had a b-celebration at MK. We all enjoyed to play the card game in a “new” restaurant.
Today was a joyful day that we put away our notes and just enjoyed the moment while playing the games on iPhone/iPod touch. I extremely admire Steve Jobs for his concept about apple. Apple’s product is just like the apple found by Isaac Newton. It changed the world.
Besides, we had a mini b-celebration with Aflred.
I feel a little bit frustrated when I look back on what I did in this year. I wanna do something great but the efforts I paid seem to not enough to achieve my goals. I feel really exhausted to do anything right now. I just hope my exam can pass asap and take a long vacation.
